    BRIGHTER AND COOLER

I have 9 of the incandescent spotlights in my coach. Two over the cockpit seats as map lights, 2 over the couch, bed and kitchen table, and one over the recliner. I thought I would try two of these, one 5500K and one 3200K. When I received them (2 days after order) I tried the 5500K in the drivers map light and 3200K over the recliner. The difference was VERY noticeable. The 5500K is very white, which is what you want for a map light. The 3200K looked to be the same color as the incandescent, but brighter and not as yellow as the incandescent bulb. I left them on for about an hour and then touched the face of the bulb. It was barely warm. The old bulbs were actually hot on the back of my neck when reading on the couch and in bed. These bulbs are the same size of the 1383 incandescent spotlight.

I’m placing an order to replace the rest of the spotlight bulbs with these. I will use the 3200’s everywhere except in the map lights in the cockpit. My amp meter doesn’t change when I turn on one of these bulbs where as the incandescent bulb showed a 2 amp increase.

This is truly a unique bulb.
